Contrary to what you might expect, San Diego attracts many Hollywood celebrities. We have already discussed two places where they hang out: JSix and Rama. Add another one to the list: Stingaree, which has been designated as "The hottest place to party in San Diego" by Paris Hilton in her inimitalble "That's hot" style. Other celebs that hang out there are Hollywood hipsters including Fergie, Josh Duhamel, Vanessa Minnillo, Kanye West, The Wayans Bros., The Black Eyed Peas, Alyssa Milano, Seth Green, and Flava Flav.
Located in the historic Gaslamp Quarter, guests of Stingaree can get cozy in private cabanas or on plush king sized beds on the beautiful Rooftop Oasis in case they have had a little too much to drink in the main bar.
The second floor, or "Mezzanine" houses a private Penthouse accommodating up to 35 people. It is completely secluded and features its own private bartender. Just outside the Penthouse, you will find the "reservation only area" equipped with oversized booths and personalized bottle service. The lounge floats above the first level dance floor, providing guests with a view of the intense nightlife scene below. The Mezzanine area often doubles as a catwalk for numerous runway shows, featuring clothing designs from some of the hottest names in the fashion industry.
When you’re ready to turn it up a notch, head down to the first level to experience Stingaree’s hardwired nightclub. On the opposite side of the main bar you will find the 90-seat dining area, which offers guests the perfect vantage point to enjoy the stylish surroundings.
