Plaza Hotel in New York City |

One of the things that I always recommend is that if you visit a historic city, then to the extent possible, try to stay in a hotel with personality. That is why I recommended the Copley Plaza hotel in Boston or the Chateau Marmon hotel in Hollywood or the Shore Club Hotel on South Beach in Miami. In New York City, I have recommended hotels like Soho Grand Hotel. Let me take this opportunity to also suggest that you try to stay at least for one night in the world-famous Plaza Hotel right on Fifth Avenue and walking distance to Central Park.
