While Lake Tahoe is a very popular destination for vacationers, there is an impression that it is an expensive destination. And the fact that celebrities like Alicia Silverstone decided to have their wedding there or the American vice president goes fishing there does not help much with the reputation either. However, like any other high-end vacation spot in the world, Lake Tahoe is for everyone.There are several reasons why Silverston chose to have her wedding there. She found the place "magical" (we agree), but more importantly, she wanted to make sure that everyone who attended had a little vacation too (how kind!).
 First of all, Lake Tahoe is vacation destination all year round. During the winter months, you can ski or snowboard. The adventurous people go tubing, sledding, snowshoeing and snowmobiling. During summer months, you can play golf (a very popular reason people go there) or enjoy water sports of all types. And believe it or not, while it is never really hot during summer, it is still quite pleasant with temperatures in the 70s.There is another option for you to enjoy Lake Tahoe. Just ask your company to organize a company event there. Or if you belong to an association, suggest to them they hold their meeting there. With excellent conference facilities, no matter which month you go to, you will have a very productive business meeting there since you will be able to relax as well.
