When it comes to fashion shows, Milan (or as the Italians like to call it - Milano) is the place to be. Milano Moda Donna attracts not just designers like Giorgio Armani, Roberto Cavalli, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, and Francesco Scognamiglio, but also movie stars and models from all over the world. The sad news is that the shows are not open to the general public. So which celebrities were seen at the Milan Fashion Shows? Among the ones we spotted were Jennifer Lopez (with her husband Mark Antony), Anne Hathaway, Kate Moss, and Jessica Alba. (Related: Ponza Island)
So how can you hang out in Milan - like the stars?
Well, the main reason the fashion show is held in Milano, Italy, is that like other fashion capitals like New York, Los Angeles, Paris, London, and Tokyo, it is a city with both designers, fashion houses, and models. Also Milan is a great place to explore in Italy apart from Rome and Venice. Some of the major landmarks are Rondanini Pietà, Ambrosiana, Palazzo Marino, Santa Maria delle Grazie, and Palazzo dell'Arte. And if fashion is what takes you there, then visit Via Monte Napoleone (Montenapo is how to locals call it), which is a very old part of the city and claims to be like the Fifth Avenue in New York City.
