Angelina Jolie is a remarkable woman and actor and she does a terrific job of transforming herself for each role that she plays, but how do you become the person that is living and happens to be a friend. That was the challenge that she faced when she decided to play the widow of Daniel Pearl in the film "The Might Heart." It so turns out that even before Brad Pitt came up with the idea to go ahead with the movie, both Angie and Marianne Peral were already close friends and so were their children. Generally speaking when Hollywood celebrities play roles that are new for them (e.g. when John Travolta became a firefighter in Ladder 49), they spend days/weeks working or visiting or learning about these roles.
