Tower Hotel on Sunset Boulevard |

In a letter written by Truman Capote in 1947, he wrote, "I am living in a very posh establishment, the Sunset Tower, which, or so the local gentry tell me, is where every scandal that ever happened happened..."
That's right. This hotel is a Hollywood landmark and counts among its former residents Howard Hughes, John Wayne, Billie Burke, Marilyn Monroe, Errol Flynn, Elizabeth Taylor, Frank Sinatra, Paulette Goddard, Zasu Pitts, and even gangster Bugsy Siegel. The lobby and Tower Bar & Restaurant are housed in what used to be Bugsy Siegel’s apartment in the 1930s. Celebrities that still like the hotel are Nicole Kidman, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Renee Zellweger.
Like any other luxury hotel , this one too has excellent dining options and has a salon and spa. I also love their dining/drinking option at the terrace - keep your eyes open for the stars.
I think if you want to spot celebrities then other than Chateau Marmont, this is another excellent option.
