 When I first learned about The Setail hotel in Miami, I was a little bit confused by the name which has a very Japanese tone to it. Well, I was right. The Setai is now an Asian-inspired luxury hotel popular among Hollywood stars when they visit the South Beach area. Originally though, it used to be the very American Dempsey Vanderbilt Hotel.
Some of the celebrities that have been spotted there include Nicolette Sheridan. The hotel offers either a suite (1-3 bedrooms) or a studio suite for staying. If you want to go all the way, I also like the 10,000 square foot penthouse. While Miami is full of fine restaurants and nightclubs like Mokai, Snatch, Bricks, and the Havana Club, you may want to check out the Grill on the property. There are also some good choices at the Shore Club Hotel nearby. And I am not sure if your trip will be complete without the Sumatra Coffee Body Polish at the spa.
