Vacation on Moorea Island |

The island of Moorea (Mo'orea) in French Polynesia is so beautiful that it is sometimes called "the most beautiful place on earth." It is the second most popular destination after Tahiti (which is just 11 miles away). Contrary to what you might think, the island is big: more than 50 sqare miles and about 15,000 inhabitants. And believe it or not, more tourists go there than to Bora Bora, which has been made popular by Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban, Eva Longoria, and Tony Parker. The Pearl Resorts in Tikehau (which is two hours away from Bora Bora) recently invited Hollywood celebrities to get married there. The living quarters are very similar to those at the St. Regis Resort in Bora Bora.
