Gwen Stefani's secret to looking great before a big event

For any Hollywood celebrity, it is important that they look their very best when they go out in public.  While it does take some work, you have to do it if you are a star.  So what does an already beautiful woman like Gwen Stefani do to make her look relaxed, radiant, and rejuvenated?

Well, you guessed it right.  She heads to the spa.  One of her favorite spas is the We Care Spa in Desert Hot Springs, California.  The spa was founded by Susana Lombardi, a native of Argentina, who now works with her daughter Susy Lombardi, along with a host of nutritionists and other health experts.  (Related spa:  Mii Amo)

What treatments are offered?

As any other high-end spa, a whole range of packages and treatments are available that can suit almost any budget.  However, if you are busy and stressed out, for instance, you can undergo their Detox Package (costs in the neighborhood of $1,000), you will get a facial, a combination massage, two herbal detox routines, a well being massage, and Korean Body Splash.  It all ends with a Dessert Date Polish Deluxe (that smooths the skin with, believe it or not, organic dates and berries).  (Related spa:  Chiva Som in Thailand)

Is this spa for you?

Absolutely.  While Gwen Stefani and Ben Affleck have been seen there, the owners understand that they have to serve other customers as well.  That is why their spa packages range all the way from just a few hundred dollars to almost a thousand dollars.  Similarly, if you choose a package to really relax over a few days, you can chooose their Plan C that is a 3 days and 2 nights program for less than a thousand dollars, and even cheaper if you go with a partner.  Of course, if you want the celebrity treatment, you can pick Plan A that lasts for a week, but costs a few thousand dollars.
