Whether it is Carmen Electra in a bikini or Lindsay Lohan on the beach or Sophia Milos showing up at a fashion show in a swimsuit - one thing is certain.  Swimwear is no longer an item of apparel worn just to get into water at a pool or the beach.  It is a fashion statement.  So if you want to be like Hollywood celebrities, choose your bathing suit accordingly.  The one that I like from the bathing suit fashion show this season is the one below.

Remember that Hillary Clinton Sopranos video?  That was one fine clip (I hope you enjoy humor regardless of your political affiliation).  Well, Hillary has done it again.  While appearing on the David Letterman show, she made these really funny (though some of them have a serious message behid them) campaign promises.

If there is one job that I don't want - ever - is to be a nanny, despite the fact that I love children.  A child has a head of its own and often tends to believe that she or he is smarter than the rest of the world.  Plus, when you are taking care of someone else's child, they are ready to kill you if something happens.  Louise Woodward, the British au pair was convicted for the death of Matthew Eappen and his parents literally wanted her to be sentenced to death.  In this movie, Scarlett Johansson ha a life of her own, so the movie gets really interesting.

If Gwen Stefani is a fashion designer (LAMB)  it is because she has such a great sense of style.  She was not always like that; she wore some really ridiculous clothes in the earlier part of her career but now she is often described as one of the best dressed Hollywood celebrities.  At the other extreme is Lil' Kim, a star that has worn outfits that you simply will never forget, giving her the title of the worst dressed.

Earlier I talked about how stars have worn ridiculous dresses on the red carpet, but the Hollywood celebrities have worn ridiculous clothes on the stage too (and anywhere else they are seen).  When they wear those clothes (and I am sure that apart from the celeb there must be other experts who help them get dressed), you simply wonder "What were you thinking?"  Indeed, we expect them to change the rules somewhat but don't go nuts.

We look to our celebrities to give us some ideas on how to dress.  After all, the designers use the stars to showcase their work so that the rest of us can decide what to adopt and what to ditch.  Having said that it does not mean that you should blindly follow everything that the celebs wear.  They have gone overboard many times and made a big fool of themselves on the red carpet and even when they are just going about their daily business.  Watch this MTV video clip in which they have put together a good list of all the stupid, funny, ridiculous dresses that the stars have worn on the red carpet.

No offense to Shar Jackson but compared to Britney Spears who was a "rock star," she was just nobody - her claim to fame was being the ex and mother of two children of another lose Kevin Federline.  What has life come to.  Kevin is a role model for single dads and Shar Jackson is a hot Hollywood celebrity.  Here is a photo of her in a cleavage revealing dress at the "Hot in Hollywood" party, where Ms. Spears was not invited.
