 If you are in Hollywood for the sole purpose of celebrity spotting, you need to be where the stars are: Sunset Boulevard. And what better place to stay than the Chateau Marmont Hotel and Bungalows. This hotel is one of the few places in Hollywood where you are almost guaranteed to spot the stars. Some of the star patrons are/have been Raquel Welch, Humphrey Bogart, Scarlett Johansson, Led Zeppelin, and Charlize Theron.
How to enjoy your stay?
In order to decide what to pick - all the way from simple rooms to cottages, bungalows and penthouses, this place has it all. Apart from a great pool where you will often see the movers and shakers of Hollywood, be prepared to meet some of the A-list celebrities in the Bar Marmont, the restaurant on the property.

I am sure that you sometimes wonder, as I do, where do the royals party? Royals as in Prince William and Kate Middleton.
There is a place in the upscale Mayfair neighborhood of London called Mahiki, which prides itself on serving exotic tropics-inspired cocktails and food. It has a Polynesian theme. However, my recommendation is that just go there to spot celebrities and stars and not necessarily to eat and drink. Like any other upscale bar, many guests report instances of bad food/drinks and poor customer service plus an attitude of arrogance towards those of us who do carry an American Express Centurion card (or the so-called Black card). |

Looks as if Paris Hilton can't find another place to celebrate her birthday. While in 2006, she celebrated her birthday at the Pure in Las Vegas, this year, same city, different nightclub. She cut the cake at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino's Body English nightclub. And the guest list wasn't all that different either since her on again-off again boyfriend Stavros Niarchos was there and so were her sister Nicky Hilton and her boyfriend David Katzenberg.
The Body English is an upscale nightclub (How to dress in Vegas?) popular with Hollywood celebrities and charges as much as $30 cover charge for men and $20 for ladies. The only exception are local ladies. |

Well, just going on a romantic date is one thing, Keri Russell and Shane Dreary went one step farther. They tied the knot in New York, which at that time was a winter wonderland.
Christina Aguilera, who likes to be naked with her husband Jordan Bratman on Sundays, went to Disneyland, apparently without the kids. Hey, Disney can be fun even for adults. A family that likes Disney is the Christie Brinkley family.
Nicole Richie and Joel Madden dined at Beverly Hills restaurant La Scala.
John Travolta and Kelly Preston dined at Mr. Chow. Other Hollywood celebrity couples who were seen in public celebrating Valentines Day were Mandy Moore and Adam Goldstein, aka DJ AM, Nick Carter, and Brittny Gastineau.
Victoria Beckham or Posh Spice celebrated at The Cheesecake Factory with her kids Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz since David Beckham was in Madrid. |

Hollywood celebrities Britney Spears and Isaac Cohen were at The Palms. So was Justin Timberlake. How come ex-Miss Nevada stayed at the same suite as him? The Hardwood Suite Palms Casino costs a whopping $25,000 a night and no matter how many times she may have exposed herself, I am not sure if she got any money for it. That's too bad.
The only possibility is that if you are Katie Rees, you are simply enjoying your 15 minutes of fame. She has been recently crowned as Miss Jet Las Vegas, which is like being crowned Miss Anytown. My best guess is that the Palms management simply wanted publicity and they either gave it to her for free or for a small price. It's good to be Katie Rees right now and not so good to be Tara Connor. |
