Celebrity travel news

Apart from the Havana Club, Bricks, Snatch, and Shore Club Hotel, I also want to mention Mokai, a really different kind of nightclub (imagine New York City style clubbing in steamy Miami). This place has been conceptualized and created by Nicola Siervo (co-founder of Mynt and Rok Bar and partner in Metro Kitchen + Bar), Rony Seikaly (former NBA star and partner at Mynt Group), Linley Edwards (of Mynt), and Karim Masri (owner of Hotel Astor and partner at Metro Kitchen + Bar). Hugo Boss has provided the outfits for the entire Mokaï staff.
It appears that they are really going after Hollywood celebrities including Cameron Diaz, Lenny Kravitz, Justin Timberlake, P.Diddy, Leonardo DiCaprio and Enrique Iglesias, but that does not mean that they are ignoring you. Some of the other stars that have been spotted there are Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, Kevin Federline, Alec Baldwin, Jeremy Piven, and Nicky Hilton and David Katzenberg. |

After being inspired by the likes of Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake, I highlighted a luxurious vacation at the Ritz Carlton in Vegas. Well, now I have found another vacation package that will blow your mind, and wallet, and definitely put you in the leage of Hollywood celebrities. For a meagre $425,000, you can have a vacation of a lifetime. While you are welcome to go with that special someone, you may also make this a family reunion - up to 10 people total. This is what you get from this package developed by Villas of Distinction:
Private Jet Service
You will be treated like royalty on this private jet service from New York to St. Martin on the renowned Citation X.
Private Yacht
Upon arrival in St. Martin, guests will board the 140 ft. Martha Ann luxury yacht for seven glorious days. She can accommodate up to 10 guests in five cabins, featuring a main-deck master suite with king-size bed, his-and-her bathrooms, Jacuzzi tub and 42" flat-screen TV. Other on-board accommodations include two guest staterooms with king-size beds, in-suite bathrooms and flat-screen TVs; and two guest staterooms with twin beds, in-suite bathrooms, Jacuzzi tubs and flat screen TVs. Amenities include a wine cellar; six-person Jacuzzi; treadmill, weight bench and Life Fitness 9100; sauna; wet bar; barbecue; DVD, video and CD library and 50" flat-screen television with surround sound in the sky lounge.
Private Island
Following the stay at sea, you can then enjoy three amazing nights on Necker Island, Sir Richard Branson's fabulous private island featuring 74 acres of tropical paradise that form your very own personal hideaway. Totally private, Necker has only one residence, a magnificent villa of breathtaking Balinese design. On Necker, the pace is tropical, the ambiance exotic. Surrounded by the sparkling blue Caribbean Sea of the British Virgin Islands, Necker Island exudes the elegance and lifestyle of the rich and famous.
Beneath huge peaked roofs, this unique structure houses 10 bedrooms, all with in-suite bathrooms and private balconies that offer sweeping vistas of the sea and neighboring islands. The living and dining areas are cavernous. Tropical sunlight streams through vast skylights in the vaulted ceiling. Wide louvered windows open to the exhilarating ocean breezes. A raised gallery overlooks an interior garden of lush palms and ferns.
Outside, the villa is encircled by broad, galleried terraces of York stone. A patio is set for dining al fresco. All about, comfortable lounge furniture invites languid relaxation or quiet reading. From this upper terrace, fresh water cascades into a whirlpool on the terrace below and flows into the enormous swimming pool, its water as clear as Baccarat crystal.
Own Personal Staff
On Necker Island, the staff outnumbers the guests, providing first-class service and catering to your every whim. Enjoy a tropical drink in the indoor garden or on one of the terraces with picturesque views of the British Virgin Islands. Meals are as informal or formal as you desire, and at the pace, time and location of your choice. Your staff can prepare a light lobster lunch with fresh fruit served in the shade of the pagoda at the beach pool's floating dining pavilion, or a more formal affair in the 26-seat dining room with silver, lace, linen and crystal place settings.
Island Activities
A short stroll from the villa, on a dazzling cape of silver sand, sits a Balinese gazebo and beside it a flood-lit tennis court. Two traditional Balinese guest houses, one with its own swimming pool, sit nestled in exquisite surroundings with romantic views. Recreational facilities abound -- sailing, water skiing, wind surfing, snorkeling, scuba diving and fishing. On the villa's main level, there is even a full-sized English snooker table. |

The island of Moorea (Mo'orea) in French Polynesia is so beautiful that it is sometimes called "the most beautiful place on earth." It is the second most popular destination after Tahiti (which is just 11 miles away). Contrary to what you might think, the island is big: more than 50 sqare miles and about 15,000 inhabitants. And believe it or not, more tourists go there than to Bora Bora, which has been made popular by Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban, Eva Longoria, and Tony Parker. The Pearl Resorts in Tikehau (which is two hours away from Bora Bora) recently invited Hollywood celebrities to get married there. The living quarters are very similar to those at the St. Regis Resort in Bora Bora. |

Apart from Snatch and the Havana Club in Miami, there is another location that I like: the Bricks nightclub. Well, I am not the only one to like it. So do Hollywood celebrities and Troy Aikman, Venus Williams, Lennox Louis, Rick Fox, Terrell Davis, Jeff Garcia, Willie McGinest, Richard Seymour, Shawne Merriman, Chris Myers, and Antonio Gates.
It has five full service bars, and of course, some of the best views in Miami. The Jade is the outdoor patio area that can accommodate up to 500 people.
The Sky Lounge can also accommodate same number of guests and has its own private entrance, private cabanas, and in case you get tired, large plush couches.
The Led Lighting Room has as many as three bars, oversized leather couches and lounge area and plenty of space for dancing and spotting celebrities. If you want a big party, this is it: 1,000 guests. |

The Havana Club of Miami is a private club, allowing only 800 members with the exclusive privileges of this club including, personalized private humidor in humidor room, elite concierge services, and club-provided limousine with chauffeur. While Snatch and Bricks Nightclub are open to the public, you can access this exclusive place only as a companion or if you buy a ticket for special events that almost always include celebrities, like Tom Cruise, Venus Williams, Serena Williams, The Black Eyed Peas, Tom Arnold, Rich Eisen, Troy Aikman, SHAQ, and Carmen Electra.
It offers a full view of the Biscayne Bay from the top floor of the 55-story Wachovia Financial Center. This is considered to be one of the most elite cigar clubs in the world. Of course, it also has exotic Cuban cuisine prepared by Chef Douglas Sisk. |
